Traveling via the WA State Ferry System

We decided we needed to take advantage of a glorious weekend, looked around, and there they were: Sunshine + Water + Time = Ferry Time!
We waited for the ferry to arrive - relaxing in our car, in the line with our fellow travelers.
We ferried to Vashon Island via Fauntleroy; drove around the island; ferried from Tahlequah to Point Defiance; drove to Bremerton; saw Arianna working at Benita's; had dinner with Tim & Ari at Silver City Brewery; took a ride in their new Nissan Rogue; ferried from Kingston to Edmonds; and finally drove home. 12 hours of beautifulness!
Tahlequah - ahhhhh... Arianna works in a wonderful bridal shop in Silverdale! We enjoyed looking at the beautiful dresses and meeting some of her co-workers. Warren even bought a tux shirt from his baby girl.
General rule of life: Take at least one ferry ride a year - scientifically proven to keep you healthy! (Well, it may just be my opinion...) It is a quick way to take a mini-vacation.
