Part I of Our McHop English Adventures

What a wonderful vacation we had in England with our grandsons, daughters and sons-in-law!
Crazy us, we forgot to take any photos of our first meeting with Pearson...

After getting to the UK and trekking out to Huntingdon on 12/21, we returned to London on 12/22 to celebrate our anniversary on 12/23. We stayed at Hazlitt's in the SoHo district. This boarding house (ahem, boutique hotel - based on the cost) has been around since the 1700's. Quite creaky and full of character.
On the first night, we decided to find a place to eat, but, had no reservations. We found an excellent bistro! The Jamie is Jamie Oliver. Foodies know him well. The restaurant has a dark mysterious atmosphere and we, luckily, got there about 10 minutes before the rush hit!
After dinner, we headed over to the St. Martin's Theater, where Warren has seen The Mousetrap a couple of times before. I wanted to get in on the fun. We had to promise not to reveal the ending, so, you'll just have to go find out in person!
That's a lot of performances. I love Agatha Christie. It was fun to see.
We realized that the restaurant we'd picked for the next night, The Ivy, is right across the street.
Stay tuned for Part II - Cheerio!
